KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE TEAL GILDED (LIMITED TO 100)
The inspiration came from this True Story, Hachi: A Dog's Tale. This was an absolute beautiful true story and a perfect epitome of what loyalty is in my opinion. The story starts off with a lasting bond with Hachi and its owner. Hachi was an Akita Inu Breed born on a farm and later adopted by a professor of agriculture at the University of Tokyo. Both of them have a routine of walking together to the Shibuya train station where the owner would always pet Hachi before boarding on the train.
Hachi would spend the day waiting for the owner to get back from work. The routine continued for years until one day the owner suffered from a brain hemorrhage and died. Hachi did not know of the shocking news but he kept on waiting and waiting for more than 9 YEARS until one day he passed away due to natural cause.
He was nicknamed, "The Faithful Dog"! To me, he still continued to inspire us including me till this day of what being faithful, loyal and loving truly means. A statue of Hachi was erected to pay a tribute and to remind people the qualities that a person have.
